Autumnfest takes the first three weekends of October at Seven Springs Mountain Resort: Oct. 3 and 4, Oct. 10 and 11, and Oct. 17 and 18. The resort is at 777 Waterwheel Drive, roughly an hour from Confluence by way of Route 281 and Route 31.

Craft and artisan vendors, live music, and the chairlift running for anyone who wants the foliage from above. The resort’s summer adventure activities, the Alpine Slide, the rock wall and the boats on Tahoe Lake, stay open weekends through Oct. 18 on a separate All-Day Adventure Pass.
