The 12′ George Washington Parade Puppet made by Jody Best and helpers at the Confluence Creative Arts Center will march down Williams Street to the Bandstand for Confluence’s the America 250 celebration. Local residents and visitors are invited to join the parade procession to the Point to watch fireworks at dark.

The giant puppet was made with a cardboard armature and papermache in 2023 to celebrate Confluence’s 150 annivarsary. It is operated by a mystery Arts Center volunteer.
