Garrett County celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Youghiogheny’s designation as Maryland’s only wild and scenic river. Aurora Celtic plays 5 to 7 pm with food vendors on site, awards for the 46th Upper Yough Race are presented 7 to 8 pm, and music continues into the night with Jesse Shimrock, Dirk Schwenk, Nick Savage, and a local band. Free to attend; proceeds benefit the Mountain Watershed Association and the Yough Riverkeeper.
