Virginia Lee Halverson, 87, of Confluence, passed away Monday, April 6, 2026, at her home.

Ginny was born March 5, 1939 in Confluence, a daughter of Harold and Eloise (Wilhelm) Halverson. Her parents and a daughter, Betsy, preceded her in death. She is survived by a son, Lee (Melissa) Dively, and granddaughters Megan and Laura.

A 1957 graduate of Turkeyfoot Valley Area High School, Ginny served as a member of Confluence Borough Council for many years. She worked as a CNA at Henry Clay Villa until her retirement in 2006. She also operated an antique shop from her home and owned and operated Ginny’s Addison Auction in Addison for a number of years.

Ginny served as a Director of the Turkeyfoot Valley Historical Society, where she was remembered this week as a good friend and dedicated steward of the valley’s history.

Friends were received from 1 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence. Burial in Addison Cemetery will be private at the convenience of the family.
