The 4th Annual Fayette County Fiber Festival takes over the Fayette County Fairgrounds in Dunbar on June 6, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission and parking are free.

The juried market features hand-dyed yarns, raw fleeces, artisan soaps and lotions, bags, stitch markers, pottery, and finished goods. New this year: a Fleece Show and Sale bringing together shepherds and fiber artists, plus a Fleece to Shawl Demonstration — watching a team transform a raw fleece into a finished piece in a single day is worth the trip on its own. Food trucks on site. Bring a canned good or personal care item to donate to Connellsville Community Ministries. A yarn winding station ($1 per 100g skein) raises funds for the Wounded Warrior Fund.
