Patricia M. Cavanaugh Charlesworth, 84, Confluence, passed away Friday, May 15, 2026 at her home. She was born July 28, 1941 in Confluence, a daughter of Patrick F. Cavanaugh and Helen (Sands) Blubaugh. Her parents and step father, Lawrence Blubaugh preceded her in death. She is survived by a daughter, Becki Lancaster (Jamie), Addison, grandchildren, Dakota Ray Rugg and fiancé, Madison, Abbie Rugg and Seth Lancaster and cousins, Bradley and Marilyn Teets, Punta Gorda, FL. Patty was a 1959 graduate of Turkeyfoot Valley Area High School and worked for 17 years at Faymore Mfg. and Suder’s Soft Freeze in Confluence.

Friends will be received from 2-6 PM Wednesday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence. A funeral service will follow the viewing at 6 PM with Rev. Samuel McClintock officiating. Interment in Garrett County Memorial Gardens, Oakland, MD.
