Supervisory Park Ranger Brian Reedy presents the archaeological investigation and evidence discovered at Jumonville Glen – site of George Washington’s first military action and the opening battle of the French and Indian War.

The four-week investigation confirmed that a 15-minute skirmish on May 28, 1754 did indeed take place at this site – the shots that started a world war. Free and open to the public.
