Fresh Produce Returns to Confluence at The Cart on Oden
The Cart on Oden is open weekends at 537 Oden Street in Confluence with fresh local produce, handmade soaps, cutting boards and plants, while supplies last.
The first load of produce is in at The Cart on Oden, and that is good news for anyone who has been waiting on local tomatoes.
The cart is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 537 Oden Street in Confluence, with hours aiming for 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Steven King and Acasia Lytle are running it.
This first haul includes tomatoes, potatoes, corn, onions, peppers, apples, peaches, watermelon, lettuce and herbs, all while supplies last. Alongside the produce you will find handmade natural soaps from Simply Natural Soap Co., cutting boards by Scott King and plants to take home.
Confluence folks may know Steven as the gardener about town, so the man knows his way around a growing season. If there is something you would like to see on the cart, the pair say to let them know and they will try to have it the following weekend.
Fresh produce, back in town, sold by people you know. Hard to beat that. Get there early. The watermelon will not last.
