Its First Fridays concert series keeps rolling on the lawn at 10649 Somerset Pike, and it is exactly the kind of relaxed, bring-a-chair, grab-some-food evening that makes a mountain summer feel like summer.
The August installment lands on Friday, Aug. 7, with the Hickory Bottom Band providing the music. It follows July’s White Horse night, part of a series that has been drawing a friendly crowd out to the Center’s grounds all season. There is food on site, room to spread out, and the easy company of neighbors.
