The Confluence Creative Arts Center drawing club meets the second Thursday of each month from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., by donation. The fall and winter dates are October 8, November 12, December 10, January 14 and February 11.

Artist Shannon Tomac hosts, offering tips and tricks as the evening goes along. Each month carries a different theme. All ages and abilities are welcome. Bring your own supplies if you have them, and if you do not, the Arts Center can cover the basics.

Register at confluencecreativearts.org.

The club is called Sketchy Characters. Nobody has said which half refers to the drawings.
