Noel Cowles, a Confluence artist, teaches the basics of crochet stitching at the Creative Arts Center on Sunday, December 13, from 3 to 5 p.m. The fee is $15 and registration is through confluencecreativearts.org. All materials and yarn are provided.

By the end of the two hours you will have a scarf underway. Finishing it is between you and the winter.
