Show Us Your heART: Art in the Park Returns
Art in the Park brings hands-on activities and a sidewalk poetry reveal to the Confluence Bandstand on August 29, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Art in the Park returns to the Confluence Bandstand on Saturday, August 29, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and it is built for anyone with hands and a little curiosity.
Expect painting, cyanotype, T-shirt printing, weaving, rainsticks, an instrument petting zoo, live music, and a visit from O’ryan the O’mazing Clown with Problems. At noon, do not miss the Pennsylvania Humanities Council’s RAIN POETRY reveal, when kid-written and community poetry appears, as if by magic, on the sidewalks of Confluence.
The whole thing is by donation, and it is open to all ages and abilities.
None of this happens without Jody and the crew at the Confluence Creative Arts Center, who keep finding new ways to fill this town with heART. Thank you for all you do.
