Eddie Spaghetti is kinda a mountain legend. He makes remarkable work. And starting April 17, his work is going up on the walls of the Tissue Farm.

Tissue Farm’s Spring Show runs April 17 through June 1 and features woodblock prints, original prints, and what the poster accurately describes as “other strange and wonderful things.” Eddie is a printmaker based out of Morgantown, WV, who discovered his calling after studying woodcut printmaking on a trip to Australia. He’s been carving ever since. Even after 20 years of making woodcuts, he still says he can’t stop.

His process: carve a slab of wood, ink the surface, press it onto homemade paper. The results are bold, graphic, and full of energy. His subjects draw from a deep reverence for nature and love of the outdoors — rooted in the Appalachian Mountains he calls home. Think rivers, raptors, trees, and the kind of landscapes that make you want to go outside.

But Eddie isn’t just a woodblock guy. He also works in pottery, batik, and mural painting, and loves sharing his craft through workshops and teaching. Expect some range on these walls.

The opening reception is May 9, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Tissue Farm. Come meet the artist, grab a coffee, browse the work, and see what 20-plus years of not being able to stop carving looks like in person. All are welcome. No ticket required. Just show up.

The show runs April 17 through June 1. Tissue Farm is open during regular hours and the art is always free to view. More at thetissuefarm.com.
