A free history talk exploring 250 years of agriculture, cooking and food in Garrett County and the surrounding region, presented by George Cowgill and the Garrett County Historical Society in recognition of America’s 250th anniversary.

The 90-minute, photo-oriented program covers historical developments and stories large and small. Bakers from Ace’s Run will prepare samples of local historical recipes for participants just prior to the presentation.
