Award-winning author and historian Brady Crytzer unveils his newest book, “The National Road, George Washington and America’s First Highway West,” at the Addison United Methodist Church, 669 Main Street, on May 16 at 6:30 p.m.

Hosted by the Great Crossings Chapter, NSDAR, and the Old Petersburg-Addison Historical Society.

Before the event, the Petersburg Tollhouse (192 years old, National Register of Historic Places) is open for tours from 4:30 to 6 p.m. The Frederick Augustine History House and Museum will also be open to visitors.
