The 2026 GAP Photo Contest is open now to all ages and skill levels. Submit your best shots of the trail and its towns for prizes and a feature by the GAP Conservancy.
That sunrise shot you grabbed on the Casselman bridge? The one of your kid grinning through a face full of trail dust? It might be worth more than likes.
The Great Allegheny Passage Conservancy is running its 2026 GAP Photo Contest, and submissions are open now. The contest welcomes all ages and skill levels, and winners get prizes plus the chance to have their work featured in the Conservancy’s communications.
Organizers want the whole 150-mile story, from Cumberland to downtown Pittsburgh: serene landscapes, vibrant trail towns, and the small moments that make a ride memorable. Around here, that is a target-rich environment. Confluence, Ohiopyle, Rockwood, and Meyersdale all sit right on the trail, and the stretch along the Casselman and Yough gives you waterfalls, viaducts, and river bends to work with in every season.
