Robert L. Durstine, 67, Confluence, passed away Monday, April 20, 2026 at his home. He was born September 9, 1958 in Connellsville, a son of Boyd E. and Audrey L. (Lanning) Durstine. His parents and a half-sister, Kay Pletcher preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Alleen D. (Frazee); daughter, Shannon Miller, Ursina; step daughter, Amy Feathers (Robert), Friedens; grandchildren, Mason, Malachi and Merrick Miller; brother, Billy B. Durstine, IN; sisters, Eunice Sue Ream (Bill) and Lywanna Lynn Burnworth (Donald), both of Confluence; half-brothers, Edward Eutsey, Normalville and John Eutsey (Charlene), Dunbar and half-sisters, Margie Dumbauld and Ivy Christman, both of Fayette County. Bob was retired from Laborers’ Union Local 1058, Pittsburgh and a longtime sawyer in the lumber industry. He was a member of the Turkeyfoot Fish and Game Club and Trout Unlimited. Friends will be received from 4-8 PM Wednesday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence, where a service will be held at 11 AM Thursday with Rev. Samuel McClintock officiating. Interment will follow in Jersey Cemetery. There will be viewing one hour prior to the service on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to a charity of the donor’s choice.
