Purple Owl Campground is planning an open house April 13 to announce its debut as Confluence’s newest business. A barbecue is planned for the event.
The three-acre campground, located on Ramcat Road, features an indoor shower and bath, campsites along the Yough River, just off the Great Allegheny Passage. Tent and kayak rentals will be available along with free wifi and a complimentary continental breakfast for guests.
Several bikes will be available for rent and there will be a charging station for electric bikes, which are increasingly popular along the bike trail. Reservations can be made online.
