Thank you, Confluence!
Hay rides, dancing farm tractors, a quilt show, 5K race and music, music, music – it would be hard to fit more fun into Confluence’s annual two-day PumpkinFest, which wound up Sunday. Hay rides, dancing farm tractors, a quilt show, 5K race and music, music, music – it would be hard to fit more fun into Confluence’s annual two-day PumpkinFest, which wound up Sunday.
PumpkinFest is always Confluence’s time to shine and shine it did again this year.
Behind all the events, the food trucks and concessions, the annual duck race in the Casselman River, was a small army of volunteers, led by the Confluence Volunteer Fire Co., which has been faithfully serving the community since 1906. And we shouldn’t overlook the borough workers who spent the weeks leading up to PumpkinFest trimming the levies and otherwise spiffing up the town for the crush of visitors.
The names of these folks are too numerous to list, but this note is a small gesture of gratitude to each of you for your time, your commitment and your pride that make Confluence, Pennsylvania the best little town in America. Thank you.
