Trailhead Brewing Co. and Rockwood’s Music on Main promise a day of competition, laughs and cold beer at the brewery’s fourth annual Keg Race, scheduled for Saturday May 2 in Rockwood.
Beer kegs will be raced down the river in a battle for bragging rights and prizes, with proceeds benefiting the Casselman River Watershed and Somerset County Recreation & Trail Association. Food, children’s activities and an after party are also planned.
Entry forms are available at Trailhead’s taprooms at 402 Main Street in Rockwood and 606 Logan Street in Confluence’s town square.
Trailhead’s upcoming events include guitarist Ray Christiansen, who will perform at the new Confluence taproom April 10, and Byrne Klay who will perform April 11 in Rockwood. The Screaming Blonde duo have a show April 17 in Rockwood and Spring Nights with Nick Savage will perform April 24 in Confluence. All of the shows are from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
