Wake Robin Plays the Confluence Creative Arts Center June 20
Regional folk trio Wake Robin plays the Confluence Creative Arts Center on June 20, with a community potluck at 6:30 and the show at 7. Admission by donation.
The Confluence Creative Arts Center hosts an evening of old-time and folk music on Saturday, June 20, when the regional trio Wake Robin takes the stage.
The night starts with a community potluck at 6:30 p.m., with the show to follow at 7. The arts center is at 533 Williams Street in Confluence. Admission is by donation.
Wake Robin is Hannah Standiford on guitar and banjo, Judy Swanson on fiddle and Annick Odom on bass. The three sing old-time, folk revival and early bluegrass tunes, with a few originals worked in.
Bring a dish to pass for the potluck. The billing is “Folk Fun in the Summer Sun,” and on a June evening in Confluence, that sounds about right.
