A few of you have reached out about the newsletter this week, and I appreciate it more than you know. Because continuing this paper wasn't a forgone conclusion. Er, at least I thought it wasn't.
I've been in the publishing business in one form or another for most of my life — and honestly, this is just a natural extension of that. It feels right. It feels like something worth doing.
That said, moving forward, this may not always come out weekly. As a two-person operation, there will be weeks where life gets in the way and the newsletter doesn't go out. Larry wasn't always on a strict schedule either — and no single person could be. We're going to do our best, and we're going to make sure that when something important is happening in this community, you hear about it.
Which brings me to this: help us out. If you've got an event, an announcement, a bit of news from your corner of the valley — let us know. We want to be the eyes and ears of Confluence, but we can't do it alone. Send us what you've got.
Now let's get this cold weather behind us for good. Spring is moving along without us — time to catch up.
